Our eating shows how individualistic we have become. Naxi put platters of food in the middle like a feast, with people continually adding to their bowl from the middle, so that dinner becomes a social thing.

Best to double check just what the heck I'm eating beforehand. It's a hard life being vegetarian in China.

Chinglish   

English is a crazy language and many Chinese translated signs turn out pretty warped. It happens so often that the practice has been named Chinglish. Here's a couple of my favourites.
